We met at Swansea University in 2005. Our first foray into the world of advertising saw us working at agencies in New Zealand and Portugal respectively.
After a year away from the UK, we returned to do short stints at BBH and CHI & Partners, eventually finding a home at AMV BBDO in 2008. Under the guidance of Paul Brazier, and then Alex Grieve and Adrian Rossi, we worked across all the agency’s clients, helped bring in several big pitch wins, had our work recognised at various award shows and were promoted to the agency’s board.
In 2018 we took job at Clemenger BBDO in Australia where we won awards on the iconic Victoria Bitter brand amongst others and tutored at Australia’s prestigious AWARD School.
At the start of 2021 we returned to AMV BBDO as Creative Directors on Lay’s Europe, VOXI mobile, Bupa Sustainability and E.ON Next Drive. We also still write across the agency’s client list.
Our career highlights include winning 2 Grand Prix at Cannes, a D&AD White Pencil, having some of our work displayed in the permanent collection of The Design Museum and having a project being voted the world’s #1 campaign for creativity and promoting sustainability globally.
We were also honoured to do a TED talk about the plight of plastic pollution in our ocean. You can watch it here.
